    9/18 X Factor 3: Audition #2

Where is everyone tonight? I always love to read your takes before I watch the show on the West Coast.

Watching this show is becoming more of an obligation than something I enjoy. I really WANT to enjoy it, and I LOVE Kelly as a judge. But Paulina drives me nuts - the portion of last night's show when she wasn't there was fantastic! But the thing that annoys me the most is the way the judges seem to all be on the same page with every contestant. Either each one is fantastic and must go through, or is terrible and they're embarassed that he got on the stage to begin with. Some of the "four yes" people have not been good enough to warrant that level of praise. What happened to debates between judges over whether or not someone is truly good enough? Getting to the next round is not an accomplishment if EVERYONE who can carry a tune is sent through.
