However, even though Carly was my girl from the beginning, I'm OK with Tate winning. Carly has her whole life ahead of her, and it's promises to be a good one. :up

Don't know if this has been said recently, because I quit watching a few weeks ago. But I can't help but note the irony over LA having a snit-fit when he learned he got the older group, and then one of his ended up winning.

He said that, LA said he wasn't happy - But grew to like working with Tate( very much)

I got home late so I just caught the last hour....I was very surprised to see that it was a two hour finale...lots of wasted time last night. I was hoping that Tate would win so I was happy with the result. I was with the "early" Carly as opposed to what they turned her into..I posted about that issue several times.

Hope for next year:

a) with L.A. gone, clean house again on the judges. Neither of the the two young woman added anything to the show
b) get rid of Kadashian ( saw two of her three outfits and the changes were just ridiculous as they were all ugly and not flattering to her.)
c) tone down the lights and props and dancers and backup singers AGAIN. We just want to hear the person sing.

I was hoping Tate would win it only because Carly has already found some success and I don't see her fading into nothing now. Look at Lea Michele...Broadway as a child and now she's on a hit television show. Carly has a bright future ahead of her and I feel like this was Tate's last chance to really make a go of it. So I'm happy with the results.

I agree with you on Carly. If she continues doing Broadway, being on TV will be giving her more exposure and maybe a chance for larger roles

Tate's win was also a tribute to LA for leaving the show. And it's the United Tate of America after all.

Interestingly, they didn't show any montage of the two finalists before the winner was announced. I guess they ran out of time. I think they should just get rid of the part where they interview them in the backstage. That thing is useless when they ask the same question anyway on the stage.

1. Get rid of that Kardashian. She sucks!
2. Keep Britney, she actually has no drama and low-key which I like. Demi on the other hand should be fired...too young to be a mentor. She's full of herself to have enough clout like Simon and LA. She made the most bad choices not only for her final 4 but how she mentored her proteges.
3. Not sure if The Sing-Off is coming back but snatch up Ben Folds to replace LA.
