XFactor is becoming my favorite reality singing competition. I wouldn't mind The Voice if they'd put a muzzle and a robe on Christina Aguillera. I've loved AI from the beginning but doubt I will watch it this season as I cannot stand when Nikki Minaj opens her mouth (come to think of it, I can't stand watching her period).

I very much enjoyed the first season of XFactor but was glad they replaced Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. If you can't stand to vote for who stays (which is, btw, part of you JOB) then why are you there cuz ya need to go. I liked Nicole and Paula in the beginning, just as I don't dislike Britney or Demi now... but when it gets tough and they have to do more than critique, I think it will be interesting to see how Demi and Britney hang in there.

Willie was cool, as was Jeffrey. I was intrigued by Julia's song pick (Pumped Up Kicks). I don't think I've ever seen it sung before on a show. Krysten surprised me but not in a good way. I think she blew her chances not only this year, but any hope of her coming back and doing well.

I was thinking that Krysten has some real emotional problems. It was really reinforced when her mother told her something along the lines of "you said you weren't going to act this way" and also said to the camera something like "no one promised her 4 yes votes, she knew this outcome was possible". Krysten was so lucky to even get that second chance... I didn't see anyone else who was told to go off, pick another song and come back later that day. I mean, really! She got a ridiculously rare 2nd chance and behaved that way? Wow. Yeah, she's doomed for any future reality tv show singing competitions.

Panda had a good voice but she did not impress me. She turned me off; I didn't find her schitck authentic. She was playing a character she has designed to compensate for her weight and life.
