Nancy is kidding herself if she thinks keeping the kids home constitutes home schooling. I did not like her at all, she didn't even try to live Christy's life but when it was her rules she expected Mike to follow without question. And bringing live chickens into the house... what was that? Mike gets points for not throwing her out after that. Tree dad was an immature creep. Making fun of Christy was mean and there was no excuse for a grown man to act that way. I hurt for her watching that. Christy did cry a lot but at least she recognized that she is missing important time with her kids. It surprised me that I ended up really liking the corporate family... I didn't expect to like them at all.

The best thing about this show was that they left out the politics.

Yeah, but the "Working Mom vs. Stay-At-Home Mom" is just as bad. :phhht

Man, I was totaly put off by the "tree-house mom". She just came off as a little skitzo. Why on earth would you buy chickens (of all things) to bring IN to a house in the suburbs?? :rolleyes Seems if she were using that thing atop her shoulders...they'd have at least built a coop BEFORE buying the chickens... I'd have beat that woman if I came home to my house looking the way she left it.....oh wait, I forgot....I did come home to that... (but I digress)

Her ideas on home schooling were sad....I know many a parent that homeschool their children and do a good job....she's just keeping them home all day so she's not alone....though I do think the corp Dad did freak a little too much over his kids missing a few days of school.

A little birdy told me that the crew had to get in between corp Dad and psycho treehouse Mom one time....which is why she didn't sleep in the house the whole time. Sorry, but I'd have had to strangle that woman, too!

I don't think there's nearly as much danger from any of us stroking out from high blood pressure as there is from the political differences.
