Well, it ended up with everyone learning something after all. Now Mina can see military people as apart from the Iraq war and Cheri learned that she was deserving of a good relationship with her husband. Even Dan's snide remark seemed half hearted.

I think it has more to do with the fact that his parents haven't been doing much parenting. They're ready to now, but I fear it may be too late.
