I'm not sure why I'm watching this either.
I can't stand Joan Lunden.

Aww, I've always liked Joan.

Mitch and Mycheal also have largish egos, so Heather has good company. Kimberly of the freaky eyes is still freaky. Michelle get back to the ego again.

Joan Lundon's emotionless too-even voice drives me INSANE.

Ok, apple picking contest.

The first part of the challenge is to pick as many apples in 30 minutes.

The winner gets their own TV show, a book deal, and 6 appearances on the CBS Early Show.

Team 1: Tim, Heather, Denise, Mychael, Amy, Mitch
Team 2: Darlene, Michelle, Kimberly, Margo, Dawn, Tom

"The teams don't know they will have to use all of the apples" Joan tells us in that madeningly cool voice.

Uh... but they seemed to have guessed pretty quickly, Joan.

Then we get introduced to The Perfect House.

All of the contestants are in love with their new home.

Tom looks like Ricky Craven, a NASCAR driver

Was it really "a TV show"? I'd bet it's more likely a development deal (which doesn't always lead to a show on-air if they, you know... stink), or maybe just a "special".

Can't wait to find out ... and to see if it's a team-wide feeling or if she's off her rocker. (Or both)
