Well, her performance in the inn-keeping episode definitely raised Darlene's stock with me. The overacting thing still drives me crazy, and her taste still seems suspect, but she can at least produce, unlike most of the others. And she is actually *good* at something: sewing. What skills do Heather and Kimberly and Robin have? (We know that poor Margo had none at all.....)

I'm finding I'm liking Darlene as well. She seems pretty versatile. And I can't blame her for getting upset when people weren't listening to her, because the same thing often happens to me in the real life.

Oh, I'm already there, Sweets. Darlene's a riot!! Can't you just see her doing guest shots on Regis or Today (I guess it'd be the Early Show, being that it's CBS)-- gettin all spunky and high-strung. This woman is laugh out loud.

also, now that we've seen how good she is, it makes you wonder why her ideas were being ignored during the first two tasks (by Tom and Michelle)... it seems that her ideas are pretty good!

I have to admit I sort of like Darlene now, in the way you like an eccentric high strung Aunt. She's seems to have mellowed somewhat, and I like the odd chemistry her and Mitch seem to have.
