If I'd taped it, I'd say go back and review the tape. He really looked to me to have been entrapped. The 'traitor' character was the one who took the convo into making figures of himself and making millions. Levity just wasn't bright enough to see the trap and just vaguely agreed that that would be really cool, thus dooming himself.
