I definitely agree it's unique, bee stung, but it just isn't my thing.
I was so stoked to see Jordis last night and she picked who I wanted her to pick. Made me miss going to all the Rockstar tapings.
Whenever you see darkness, there is extraordinary opportunity for the light to burn brighter.
Sheldon Cooper: Woman, you're playing with forces beyond your ken
Penny: Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie.
I loved seeing Jordis on there! I have quite a few Rockstar INXS songs on my ipod. Her look is so different now that my daughter didn't recognize her. We had a youtube session of several Jordis songs and Marty's Hit Me Baby One More Time. I even saw JLuvs in some of the clips! I can't believe that was in 2006....where does the time go?
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it!!
I love this show. For me it is the best reality tv singing show there is. I love the judges who are not afraid to tell someone what they have done wrong musically. They also mentor them which is lacking from a lot of the other shows. I really like Carson Daly as a host and the whole format of the show. It should be about the voice, at least for me.
Now, I was thinking that it bugs me when nobody turns around for a singer, but then they all say the singer was great and make lame excuses about why they didn't hit their button. They don't always, but it seems to me it's more the exception when they are honest.
I also agree with Junkie that Erin's voice is not like Dia's or even Xenia's. I loved Dia and I wish that she would have won. I wouldn't touch any album Erin made with a ten foot pole.

Pan Am stewardesses: prepared for anything!
I'm enjoying it so far. But I think I had more singers I really liked last season at this point. I've missed some of the singers though, so I need to catch up.
Rewatched the episode and a few things occurred to me regarding Jordis.
First, I still love her and want to see more of her.
Second, She was a bit flat in spots towards the beginning of the song, hope it was just nerves.
Third, shouldn't be surprised to see her on The Voice. This show shares something with Rockstar... Mark Burnett!
Hope we see a few more standouts that didn't make it to the end for those shows. Storm Large would be cool!
