Not disputing Aretha's talent or stature in music.

However, I've heard she's the epitome of "hard to work with."

I'd rather work with someone whose talent is undisputed, yet who remains humble.

Funny enough I do not know her much but I liked what I saw in this show.

She sure is very very competitive but I do not see her as a bit diva in the bad way. She has personality for sure but in front of Adam which I think she finds him annoying (LOL) and blake she is quite humble. The sparks between adam and her are obvious and this is fun to watch them!

I am not that impressed about her choices tho. They all 3 have great voices but those are not star materials IMO. I hope that next round of blind auditions will bring her more potential.

Something I liked a lot in this show is that they brought a mormon and a lesbian and the tons is set: NO taboo about the looks and the background. EVERYONE is welcome and the ONLY thing matters is THE VOICE!

THAT in itself is just WOW!!! KUDDOS FOR NBC!!!!

Do you think that straw mess on Christina's head is her real hair, or is it a really bad wig? It looks horrid, yet fascinating, at the same time.

I've wondered that, too! It kind of reminds me of that blond wig that Miley Cyrus wears to become Hannah Montana.

I like Christina, she has an amazing voice she has been in the music industry for many, many years...Why wouldn't any of these undiscovered talents not want someone like Christina to mentor them?

Horridly fascinating. She really, really does need a style makeover in the worst way. That platinum blond hair look has been out every since Madonna's Blond Ambition tour ended way back in the '90's.
