I doubt either of them will win.

Who would you all say has the best chance of winning at this point, considering past seasons?

Dagnabbit! So THE STEAL THAT'S NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE turned out to be all hype? BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

What is the big deal that Usher steals someone as they are leaving the stage? Now I don't like him as much just for that! It's an a$$ move really.

If they didn't do all those recaps before AND after commercials, there would probably be enough time to see every battle round, not montages. That's a negative for The Voice. Well, two. 1 for all the recaps and 2 for the montages.

So disappointed in Shakira tonight! She set Brandon up for failure with the song selection.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Yeah, all that hype about Usher doing something that has never been done before that will shock us. PLease. How silly is that. Mental note to self: Ignore previews for The Voice. They lie and mislead. Do they really need to resort to that? I don't think so.

Actually, Usher waited until the ousted contestant was on their way out twice. Once with the young man and then with the last young lady. I thought it odd how Usher explained to the camera why he waited until the last minute to steal the young man. He said he knew he wanted him, but wanted to make the contestant sweat it. So he would feel what's it's like to lose it all or something to that effect. This confirms my previous feelings about Usher. He has this issue with power and holding it over people. He seems to have this need to put people down and in their place. He admits he did this to that young man to show him how it feels to lose hope and feel down. That's sadistic, IMO.

I really wanted to drop my complaint about Usher embarrassing that guy earlier, but I have a feeling we have seen a glimpse of the real Usher and it won't go away. I pity his team members.

I'm not totally all the way over on your side, Debb, but am leaning more and more that way. LOL

I did understand why Usher did that to C.Perkins. Because he wants him to realize how close he almost lost everything and to fight for it now that he's back. Sadistic? No. Kinda mean, yes.

Of course I knew that Usher would have a huge ego, but do I think he has a total mean streak and holds power over those lesser than him? Not totally, but a little. Now, the producers did include those clips so maybe he is a total douchecanoe and that is the nicest things he's said. I guess we'll find out when we go live. I always wondered how nasty Christina was, because she wasn't always edited to be very nice.

Speaking of divas, who do you think is now the resident diva? Usher, Shakira, Blake or Adam? I think it's Adam. teehee

UncleDavid who would you have put Brandon up against? Personally I think she should have paired him with Garrett. He's the only one Brandon could beat. Garrett should be gone this week anyway, hopefully they montage him. I just don't like his voice at all.

I hate it when promos blatantly lie to us. This is a different show, but does anyone remember that Hell's Kitchen episode where we were led to believe that Chef Ramsay is "shutting down Hell's Kitchen" because the F5 or F4 supposedly "sucked so bad"? And the promo shows us crap like "Can any of the chefs prove themselves? Will Hell's Kitchen ever reopen?" When in truth it was closing down because they were all flying to the casino the winner was gonna work at. That was the most complete misleading piece of crap I've ever seen.

Let me be the first to say that I hope I am wrong about Usher. Nothing would please me more than for Usher to do a turnaround and not go on these odd and mean lessons. I think it's a bad sign when someone delights in another's misery and I pray we see no more of that from Usher. I don't see that with the other judges and honestly, I never saw that with Ceelo or Christina either. Christina had her faults, but I never detected her being cruel to her own team members.

I am still convinced that there was something behind the scenes that caused Sasha to avoid Usher at all cost. It was like there was some unspoken thing that she would not say. I believe she had gotten the scoop on him. She had worked in the business for awhile. We may never know for sure.

it wasn't only Shakira that did that -- all of them and it really ticks me off when they do that...

And thing that irked me was when the two girl sang in spanish -- now don't get me wrong I listen spanish songs and it is gorgeous -- but I wish she would of made them sing in english we have heard them sing in spanish already!

either way looking forward to the next round -- hopefully it will be good!

I preferred the Spanish singing girl that Usher stole over the one that Shakira picked.

Debb70 I agree with you -- the one shakira kept she rubs me the wrong way I cannot explain it she seems cocky and smug to me....

I really wish for once an "older" person would win like Shauna (I think that is her name) she has a great voice but I don't the young crowd "get it"...

So funny how Blake has been striving for a country singer on this show and x factor fans picked a country singer as the winner...just found it interesting.
