There is a saying in sports, "you play how you practice". I think Tarralyn's strategy backfired against her.

    Frenchie gets it!

Blake now. Patrick vs. Tyler singing Elvis' "Burning Love"

Blake and Reba warn Tyler not to sing so many runs. (He's the nerdy looking one).

Patrick (cowboy who sang "Live Like You're Dying") didn't have enough flair. Neither one too familiar with this song.

Looks like Blake put his #1 seed (Patrick) against his #8 seed (Tyler), potential blowout here.

I'm kind of torn on this pairing. I like them both in a different way.

Thank you all so much for your play-by-plays! The show doesn't come on here in Hawaii for another 5 freakin' hours... So glad Frenchie got in. Guess it was Taralyn's family member who "attacked" Xtina. I figured as much...

That's how I felt about T and F. I would have been happy if either had made it through.

Patrick's from state! Come on, Patrick!

T and P keep cutting in front of the other for the finale.

I changed my mind. I kind of favor Tyler now. He seemed to have a little more passion and stage presence.

CL agrees with me. So does Adam.

    Blake chooses Patrick. Lame.

I wonder if CL and Adam promote who they think is weaker overall.

I actually found it kind of rude of them to pick a winner. That is the coach's job.

So do I, but not Blake. The higher seed got the benefit of the doubt from the ref. Tyler not having that country voice hurt.
