10/8 The Voice: Season 3 Battle Rounds Begin!! **SPOILERS**

It's go time, folks!

Every contestant not chosen is eligible for a steal. Each coach gets 2 steal. If 2+ coaches go in for the steal, the contestant again gets the choice.

We know from the preview that there will be at least 1 steal.

Adam's mentor is Mary J Blige
Blake's is Michael Buble
CeeLo's is Rob Thomas
Christina's is Billie Joe Armstrong

Blake's first pairing:

Casey M (country fella) vs Terry M (scottish lad). They'll be singing "Carry on wayward son".

Based on the pre-singing chit chat and rehearsals it seems like Terry may have a slight edge with the song, but Casey may have a slight edge with listening to direction and improving. I think it'll all depend on who feels more comfortable with the song.

So, all in all, I have no idea who'll win this until it's sung.

Hmmm, this might turn out to be a tougher one to choose. I feel like they're bother doing a great job with it.


The other coaches seem to echo my thoughts. It'll really all come down to who Blake wants more.

Not on here yet. Terry is one of my fans. If he does not get picked, I hope someone else snatches him up

With that Blake chooses Terry. Based on Blake's comments, I'm not surprised.

Whew Terry. I liked the other guy from the auditions, but I can hear Terry's voice when I think about it. I can't with his.

Adam's up next with his pairing of:

Bryan K (the one with the famous latin singing father whose won grammys) vs. Collin M. (the one who left grad school). They will be singing "Santeria". Wow, this'll challenge them vocally.


As an aside: does the steal have to happen right away?

If this rehearsal is any indication Collin may have the edge.

Gosh, knowing the original by Sublime, this is a hard battle.

I feel like Collin has the advantage during this song, but it's close.
