I gave up on watching this. Two HOUR (with what seemed like an hour of commercials) episodes were just too much for me. I check back on the main website periodically to see who's still in, but that's about it.

Christina confuses me too. Sometimes she seems so nice and other times it's like she's picking a fight. It does seem as though the more I see of her, the less I like her. That's not good. Did you see that video on Radaronline where she seems to diss Justin Beiber? Did you see it? I don't think I would have noticed if they had not pointed it out, but I do think it was there.
We noticed the Bieber diss while watching at home.... she often comes across as pretty mean-spirited. It almost seemed like she was ticked off over all the Bieber fuss and perhaps jealous about it. She also seems to diss contestants who are obviously really good. Ie., Mathai - she was short so many people for her team and yet didn't turn around... she doesn't seem to have much nice to say or to genuinely want others to succeed... the ones she chooses to support seem kind of random. I'm not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, but wow, they seem to have new hair and make-up people backstage or something. Starting 2-3 weeks ago, Christina looks a million times better!!!
Christina is showing she's not a nice person and a bit of a snob to me. She is annoying me ever more and I do not like her. Since there was a time gap from the taped battle rounds to the live competion, she must've lost some weight and she changed her hair during that time. She had the big hairdo probably to detract from being slightly overweight, and now that she's slimmer, her hair is straight.
Misty sorry I did mean to imply that Blake was a contestant as he was a judge. Nashville Star was when I first became aware of Blake Shelton (the person). I saw the kindness in him and just really liked him. After that his career seemed to really take off. Yes, Miranda came from there and Chris Young who did win seems to be doing very well. I did not watch the first two seasons, but did see when Chris Young won. I liked the show when it appeared on USA, but NBC only had it on one year and then it was cancelled. I read where some of the contestants also tried out for AI, but did not make it past the top 36. I don't know why more contestants or winners of Nashville Star did not become more popular. I read where Blake Shelton thought it was ridiculous.
Jacegirl, I was just trying to clarify in case anyone might think that he was a contestant. I knew about him as a singer before he was a judge, but got to see his personality more, and his career has really taken off in the last couple years. Also, Miranda was on season 1, and not the year Blake was coach. Just in case anyone thinks that's where they met.
I watched the first two season on USA and then when they moved it, i just didn't care for it much. I still love Buddy Jewel and john Arthur martinez who came in #1 and #2 in season one, and I still listen to some of the others who were on that season and wonder where they are. One of my all time favorites ever (not just on a realilty show) is George Canyon, who came in #2 in season 2. I think he is doing okay in Canada, but not here. And yet I have to listen to these generic singers on the radio who just all sound the same to me. It doesn't make sense.

Misty I so agree with you they ruined it when they moved it to NBC. It only lasted one year on that network. It was a good show that I truly enjoyed watching. Why more of them have not become famous I will never understand. I saw something on the internet about what they are all doing now, but can't remember what site. I also read that there was some sort of controversy about the show, but I guess all shows have that. lol Another one I liked was Jason Meadows.
Below is a great interview Jesse Campbell did with The Root, regarding his elimination. It's in depth and not edited (unlike his tweet). He makes some valid points, does not come across as entitled and explains how things are done behind the scenes. Cee-lo spoke with The Root, as well, about his own shock and disappointment in Christina's decision. The other coaches are equally confused. Frankly I don't see anything wrong with having self-confidence and showing it, I don't read it as being cocky at all and it's a hell of a lot more palatable to me than false humility. This show was good last year, but this year, it blows chunks- Blake's tin ear, Christina's Sybil impersonation, Adam's mindless yammering and the stunt of having coaches instantly eliminate a contestant, thus over riding the viewer vote have dragged the show down.
