I kind of wish they wouldn't include people with significant professional experience as musicians. I like the idea of it being a contest for people no one's ever really heard of, as it seems fairer that way. I could, however, see a similar show with more experienced people who are just looking for that big break that's eluded them.
Nicolle's a country singing piano playing performer. She's been told that she's not really country if she can't play guitar.
I like her and Adam does too.
Adam calls her "so special".
Blake says that Adam makes him giddy and makes him fall apart. That he loses his voice when he's around. :lol
I'm liking the idea that Nicolle plays the piano and sings. Do the coaches know, I wonder, when someone is playing an instrument on themselves when they have considerable backup as well? When Jamie was singing, it was obvious it was just him and his guitar, but it may not be so obvious when it's a single person and a piano with many other instruments backing that person up.
Ashley goes to Christina.
Jordan goes to Blake (Blake calls him a real genuine country singer).
Karla goes to Adam.
ALyX goes to Blake. (Yes, that's how it's spelled).
I wish they would have shown more than a few seconds of Jordan... he sounded really good on his song!
I'm glad that the country boy is on Team Blake :).
Mathai is the "black sheep" of the family. Her whole family's in the medical field and her family wants her to go to school. They want her to be happy but do find it hard. Before we see her we get to see a...
"6 foot 300lb white guy that sings soul music"...
Eric's singing voice does sound different from his speaking voice. I have a personal affinity for this Hall and Oates song. I think he's not bad at all.
None of them turn around for Eric.
