Last week went well. Hope this week does as well.

My, my. Not one thought to share among us?
OK, I'll toss this in the ring:

I didn't care for anyone from last night compared to last week, not even the two who had 4-chair turns. Did they screech? I forget.

Something I did notice tho -- Jennifer votes for everybody! Really. 7 out of 9 last night, 11 out of 14 last week. Blake, who is voting almost as often, is either backing her up (TPTB?) or has found some kind of formula. Last season he was the only one who had all original choices in the final rounds. And most other finalists were taken from his team in earlier rounds. I wish I still had my notes from last season - but I do remember that 'coincidence' to be what I found the most interesting.

Blake did notice the coincidence of he and JHud turning for the same people. He said...Hey, we like the same kind of singers. I also noticed that Adam and Miley turned for the same people. I found that final girl had a strange voice yet all were exclaiming how she sounded like Jennifer.

    Hope it gets better.

I liked this story except when he repeated it after he sang in answering Blake's question about how he got started singing - then I felt it was overkill.

    Davon Fleming 4, J (A M J B) Streets, worship leader, duet w/ Jen
This one from the 3rd audition I liked; but think with Jen we will once more be introduced to runs, runs, runs, after a few years of runs being discouraged.

Still have to watch the fourth audition - Tuesday.

I did not watch today Tuesday, Oct. 4, but thought the singers did okay on Monday.

I watched last night's show, I can't say anyone in particular impressed me that much.

I tried to watch the first show, but I'm not crazy about the antics of the judges (it's getting tiring) and I wasn't impressed with any of the singers. I've removed the show from my watch list.

I'm enjoying watching and the different dynamic Jennifer Hudson brings. Really like your notes KtinCT, they are so helpful. I missed most of the sob stories as my husband likes to fast forward through all of them, as well as through the judges banter... I kind of like the judges banter so sometimes I'm able to get him to slow down a little for it.

From tonight I liked Addison Agan and Karli Webster (I think, if Karli was the one who sang "You're So Vain.") I thought the girl who sang "Your So Vain" just had such a clear dead-on tone, her voice was uplifting and gorgeous.

Yes, Karli sang Carly Simon's 'You're So Vain'. She was really good.
