Sarah is working with Baby Face and she sounds so cracky.
Juliet is working with Ne Yo and based on their performances I'd say Juliet is the one who stays.
Sarah seems to have resigned to going home.
Based solely upon their outfits for the performance, Juliette will advance LOL
She is wearing some sex-pot Wonderwoman / Catwoman type get-up and Sarah has on white shirt, tie, and black slacks.
Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about either performance. Juliet was stronger, but it wasn't my style.
"I believe the song choice was a challenge"... I feel like we've heard this before.
Cee Lo chooses Juliet. Everyone is shocked. Surprised. Stunned. Which would have been the reaction if he had chosen Sarah.
Frankly, I think Juliet is showing a lack of confidence in her own voice by dressing like a leather-bound wonder woman. Sarah has a far superior voice, and it's just plain wrong that Juliet is being given every possible advantage--they dressed her in a way that's bound to attract CeLo and they gave them a song completely in her wheelhouse. And I hated that she made a big point of saying she has a soulful singer-songwriter side to her too when CeLo complimented Sarah's ability to make the song her own (though I loved the look Sarah shot her for saying that).
Thank you for Blake for noticing that Sarah has all kinds of musical talent and Juliet is, no matter what she says, a gritty singer. Period.
And what truly stinks is that you could tell Sarah knew all along he was going to pick Juliet.
So far, the only person who's gotten it right musically was Blake--but I give him no credit because he was lunkheaded enough to pick the pitch-impaired Lex in the first place. She should never have made it past the first round.
It's just unfair that Jeff and Sarah, who have much better voices than any of the three who've advanced, have been sent home.
Adam hesitantly pits
Whitney (first time as a solo artist) Vs. Kim (A powerhouse aka Chaka Khan) - No More Drama
Whitney seems hesitant with Kim's amount of experience.
Whitney gets to work with Alanis as her mentor. She is trying to figure out how to match up to Kim.
Kim is working with Robin who tells her that she sings on the edge like she's about to fall over a cliff.
I like this battle. The song was well suited to both their talents.
