Damn! If I saw this guy in a dark alley I'd run for my life.

I'm rooting for this guy. Gotta love the poker players.
Liberal? Didn't I see some chick written as republican? Should be good.. or very bad....![]()
What kind of professional poker player has never seen anything close to $1.5 million on the table? Last night's WPT event had a top prize of $1.48M alone.
Does anyone know where/what game this guy plays?
with the sheer amount of new poker players, it's not unrealistic to think that he's never been close to winning that kind of money... you have to be really really good and or equally lucky to pull in a big payday.
of course by "professional", he could have meant he has a party poker account and he took 7th out of 2000 on a $2 sit and go tournament!
Poker games like the WPT events and WSOP events that you see on TV comprise about 0.0001% of the poker tournaments that are played every day across the country. And you only see about 0.0001% of the best of the poker players on your TV because of that. There are plenty of people making a living playing poker professionally that you will never see on your televisions, and who will never see anything more than $10-20k on the table at any given time.
So funny. Oh, and don't forget.. he bought in a total of 4 times too.
The show didn't really highlight him much last night. I tend to always root for the poker players too.. but, I'm kinda liking the trucker guy a tad more..simply by the nano-second of time spent on either of these guys. So, it could change after next week.

life that which is unnoticed has the most power.
