COUPLES ARE REUNITED AND EMOTIONS RISE, ON
ABC'S "THE ULTIMATE LOVE TEST," WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30

"Episode 105" - After one and a half weeks apart, the couples will be reunited - but first Diego, Frank and Carolyn are confronted by Roy, C.R. and the fantasy women, Eva, Taneisha and Amanda. Diego and Frank fail the challenge, but they're given a second chance to see their partners - however, to see them it will cost $2000 per minute, from the possible $100,000 pot. Emotions run high as Heather and Amber confirm that this experience has been good for them and that they may ready for a change, while Jayre realizes that he could lose Carolyn over this.

I'd say that there are some big spoilers in this description, as Brandon and his two ladies aren't even mentioned as being on the show. My guess, they're gone the week before and out of the picture.

Diego and Frank fail the challenge
WOW. Not surprised about Frank, but Heather is better off...
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

OK, based on the fact that we're still in the first week of the three week filming, I just don't think this is the last episode. However, I can't find any information on the ABC website (shockingly) and tvguide.com only goes through one week from today.

Mantenna and I need to know how many more shows there are going to be so we can cover these recaps with our other writing gigs. Anyone from the show care to let us in on at least whether or not this Wednesday's is the last show? Ack, I can't decide if I want it to be over or not, because I like the show, but the suspense, it's killing me . . .

It will be eight episodes. This past one was #4. I can't find the on-line cite anymore. I do the recaps for another reality site, so I searched for the number of episodes at the start of the series.

I can't really see where they can dig another four episodes out of this situation. Ok, we can have one where the at-home partners meet their mates and then the finale where we see who wins and who doesn't.

But, I can't see what's going to be on the middle two. Jayre's story line is about done. He's flirted with the hootchies, but that's all. Leaving him alone with them for two more weeks isn't going to change anything.

Heather? She's already repeating herself way too much. We get it. Frank needs to make a commitment right now or she'll take CR's offer. Another two weeks of footage won't change that.

Amber's the only question mark. Spending more time with Roy COULD break down her will. I don't think I could stand two weeks of footage of Amber very slowly falling for Roy.

Wherever you heard 8 is wrong. There are 4 "regular" episodes, and then a reunion. The 4 regular episodes have completed airing. Wednesday's reunion is the final airing for this show.

But the reunion isn't an after the show reunion, John, as the mates from home compete for a whopping 10 minutes with their mates in Cabo. It just doesn't sound like this Wednesdays is the end of it. I dunno. I'll shut up now.

ABC hasn't issued press releases about any other episodes. And they should have by now.

I think I have to disagree. There are a LOT of things that they would have to wrap up in just 44 minutes. There just isn't enough time for each at-home partner to confront each partner and then confront their dates and then have a big, grand ceremony for each couple.

Besides, don't you think the teasers from last week would have said, "Tune in Next Week to Find Out Who Wins the Money!"?

No, I see at least two more episodes. Four seems about right if they do the kind of padding that is typical on these shows (let's see those Jell-O shots ten more times and maybe "Hey! That's my Boob!" once or twice more, even though Brandon's gone.).
