What's the old saying: "If Mama ain't happy, aint nobody happy." Certainly applies to this family.

Geez. Was Janet the worst MOM ever? I don't care HOW she spent the money, she's still a mega-beyotch.

I actually think I recognize their house, by the way. I used to have a friend who lived in that town in New York, and I drove through it a lot.

Both families benefitted fairly equally from the split of the money. I can't believe Janet resents her kids sharing in it though. And that Dennis doesn't want to go to Hawaii. I really hope Brian goes to visit the Levy/Lambe family - it would be good for him.

Next week looks like a hoot.

Oh I don't know. I've seen sooooo much worse. She was loud and pushy but not all that bad (except for the ghosts) and actually did a good job on dishing out the dough, I thought.

She went off on the whole family about all of them going out to dinner together. None of them wanted to.

Yeah, it seems that the 'silent treatment' at that house is not something they conjured up for Marybeth's benefit, but rather the normal way of life. This family doesn't seem to even like each other. So sad.

It's not how bad she was with the family, it's how bad she was with HER family.

Some of it was so over-the-top that I'm half convinced she was acting. Except that would make her a pretty good actor.
