I think one of the Jewish daughters just said Anne Marie (Born Again!) was "a cold- hearted, harsh b*tch" after her smug little toothpaste tube/words can't be taken back analogy.

I guess they are cramming everything into this one episode.
The going away gift is a deck of Bush playing cards. Great gift. :rolleyes
Man this really was a disaster. No wonder Fox didn't want this one to go on for 2 shows. The Eglys are not the most socialable family but then again it might have been intolerable being around the "happy happy" Doverspikes. Like I said I real disaster
At least they spent the money the best of any family in the past.
The eglys to me were a little more down to earth. I liked Stephanie and everything about them. The Doverspikes as someone stated were a "happy-happy" family hhmmm.
Dad looked more like Jerry Springer than Phil Donahue. Im glad each family is happy together. I have had experiences with SOME born again christians and maybe I was a little biased towards the Jewish family, but I do work in a Jewish organization, but the born agains that I have had experience with never let up about how happy what they have made them, and kept asking me to come to church etc etc.. and to the earlier post - yes they were praying for the editors of the show.

Didn't anythink Anne-Marie was a female version of Ned Flanders? Especially doing that little wakeup song?
Well I just got off the phone with my mother who watched this episode, and I am laughing so hard tears are running down my face. You see everything stephanie said and did is exactly how my mom is and I love it . "do we look stupid?" Is this hokey or what?
