I am here! Why is every family they show so .....big?
And that whipped cream thing in the eisle? I don't think that is 'fun' - just embarresing and tacky.

I liked (Diane's?) donut-on-a-string party idea. That looked like those kids were having fun.
weird that they put subtitles for each accent....I don't have trouble understanding either family.

That was probably the most fun those kids have had in a long time. You know it just occured to me that maybe the reason the daughter had such a hard time when it was just her and Diane were hanging out was because the girl probably doesn't even know how to play. She doesn't even know how to let her hair down ;so of course she was going to be anal about getting her hair wet.

The reason that the daughter was upset about getting her hair wet is because alot of African American women and girls, like myself, have to have their hair "relaxed' or chemically treated to obtain a straighter look. Most teens are very anxious about how they look anyway, so I understood her distress and didnt look at it as a reflection on how she felt about the visiting mom. :smile
