| Wow, there's a reason to think twice about going on a reality show that will show your entire family on camera. I bet that girl wishes she hadn't come home from cheerleading camp. As far as the way Nana is treated, it was coming from both Tammy and her husband. I think from the show we can deduce that Tammy has no shame, and sees nothing wrong with saying she is working hard without actually lifting a finger. It doesn't surprise me that she lets her mother-in-law act as a personal slave. But the husband is just as abhorrent in the way he talked to his mother. I hope she makes that trip to Japan last six months.

| I don't know if it was just me, but I find it very stupid that Tammy gave the Biggins $22,000 for a down-payment on a new house. Doesn't that force the Biggins to buy a new house. Maybe Tammy & Anthony discussed this, but if not, I found that to be very stupid. |

| So Tammy proposed to him ummmm Gold digger. Think she knew what kind of bank he had when she decided to pop the question? She used to be a truck driver ,but she's not bright enough to know if the circuit breaker keeps flipping off then you need to turn off some other appliences. Most not have been a big rig she was driving and maybe the part of Kentucky she's from doesn't have electricity. |

| Oh I'm sure they had electricity in Tammy's neck of Kentucky...didn't you watch Coal Miner's Daughter? Why if even Butcher Holler can get newfangled... :rolleyes Tammy's ignorance has nothing to do with where she's originally from.

| First of all, this is, so far, the best reality show I've ever seen on FOX. I think the Nakamura family should make their trip to Japan immediately and they will be quite popular over there, because Yuki looks exactly like emperor Akihito of Japan! <img src="http://en.wikipedia.org/upload/1/1a/Akihito.jpg"> Some might be shocked by how Nana was treated in that household. I think it's mainly a cultural thing. I was told that in some Asian culture, which shall remain nameless, women can't start eating until men in the family finish. So don't be surprised that Nana was washing dishes when it's all said and done. | |

| Being from the backwoods of deep south originally and educated there myself I 'm sure that alone didn't have anything to do with her ignorance, but....... I don't think it helps either. Besides I'm just busting her chomps here. |

| I think the down payment money was a great idea because that's usually the thing keeping most people from being able to buy a house. The monthly mortgage can be scaled (especially with a nice down like $22k) to a comfortable level for the Biggins (they're probably paying more for their rent right now than they would their mortgage ... and with a mortgage, they're basically paying themselves, because a house is an excellent investment). They can refinance in a year or so and take money out for the kids' college educations. It's like money in the bank. I'm really happy for how everything turned out. I started clapping when I heard how Tammy disbursed it. I still can't stand that monster, but she did the right thing there. One snarky thing about the Biggins, though .... I had to laugh at the big ole clothes dryer in the kitchen next to the stove. Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do, I guess.

Regarding the kids being "normal," that obviously have to do with Yuri's genes and Nana's caring. Mama is too busy doing her hair and counting her carbs (not sure how good her counting skills are). | |
