As I figured, I am the only one watching.
I'm BARELY watching while doing twn other things. This show looks nightmarish.
Nana "knows her place"? Did this woman marry interracially to get a SERVANT for a mother-in-law or a husband?
Hate her.
Basically you have one rich family and one poor family.
The family is thinking of ways to spend the $50,000 they think they will be getting. Instead what they don't know is that the new mother is going to be spending the $50,000 on what she thinks the family she is moving in with needs.
Nana thinks that Fox is going to kidnap the mom.
she seemed kinda hopeful!:rofl
i'm watching, too. it's funny to watch the moms from dallas, since that's where i'm living. the plastic surgeon's wife is going to be SHOCKED when she sees her new digs. she's obviously accustomed to a certain lavish lifestyle (which if i led, i would not complain.)
and dayum did you see the waterford colored crystal just sitting out in the kitchen?!!?? i'm happy for the woman that's going to get to live in that spacious palace for a week.
I have to admit, even with the "Married My Dad" horrible production values now that I'm actually seeing it I can see some potential. They don't appear to be selectively editing (yet?), and if they aren't CHICKEN and focus on made up scandal (with M-M-D bangs and zooms) they may actually be able to show CULTURAL differences.
The rich white woman is interesting in that she's married interracially, but treats her mom-in-law like a servant. She also seems stuck up, at least so far.
I also wonder... in many cases Japanese don't get along with African-Americans. Dare this show go there? Dare it?
