I can't believe she made it to the finale over Goil and Andrea. I don't get what they see in her designs at all. They look so cheap and blah. Last week's hotel room with those black panels all over. This week that orange room.

She won't win, but she shouldn't be there in the first place.

Agreed.

I do like Carissa's aesthetic, but it's one-dimensional and not at all innovative.

The show's credibility took a hit when the judges sent her to the finals over Goyle and Andrea.

I think Carisa designed rings around Andrea. Andrea had one win, the dining room, and her other efforts paled in comparison. Read the judges blogs if you have doubts about why Carisa is in the final 2 and Andrea is not.

She may irritate some but I like her rooms and use of color.

I've almost always liked Carisa's design's better than Andrea's. And Goil fell apart. I think had it not been for him falling to pieces we may have been seeing a different final two, but I think it was Andrea's time to go and not Carisa's. I think her use of color (something the judges mention in their blogs) is what makes her rooms more exciting. She likes to overdo the pillows a bit, and likely the tschotches like this last room, but she can learn to calm that down. Instinctively knowing the use of color is a harder skill to learn IMO than how many extras to use. I believe she deserves to be in the finals.

It also appears to me that Matt respects her opinion because they are always comparing and talking to each other about their rooms which is why Goil felt left out.

Yay!!!

I'm glad she didn't win.. every damn time there was a challenge, she had to automatically go into "I'mstressedIdon'tknowwhattodo soyouallmustlistentomebitch" mode. The way she acted toward the construction guys HELPING Carl carry all the wood up 60000 stories was BS. Sitting there, tossing her empty can..bitching..

Ugh!! She was very hard to watch, I just couldn't stand the constant whoa-is-me'ism.
Carl deserves his $10,000.00...and if he gets nothing out of this show, then I think the producers should write him a letter of apology for dragging him along for the sake of a good -vs- evil finale.

Ya know, bitching about Carisa is all fine and dandy..but when a PUPPY gets hurt!?

That's when the snarking ends and someone really needs to escort her out of the building before she gets seriously hurt....AND TAKE YOUR COKE WITH YOU! WHO drops puppies?? Little kids, yes..

Careless and selfish, two qualities she shouldn't highlight on her resume.

She's an annoying immature beyotch, but if this show is actually about design, her final one was FAR better than that crap Matt did.

Mind you, many of her designs through the rest of the competition were icky. Then again, Matt's have been consistently predictable--and I don't mean that in a good way.

Andrea was better than either of them.
