Top Chef Season 5 - Spoilers and Speculation

Found the following article here and thought I would pass it along for what it's worth:

SEASON Five of "Top Chef," the popular Bravo series, is shacking up in trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn, according to reports.

Reps for the show declined comment, but did not deny that the culinary program would be filmed here for the first time.

The Web site eater.com says it heard from contestants that the show was looking for space in Brooklyn to house the young chefs.

I have a friend who lives in the area, I may have him do recon work first. Then I'll be able to take the train out there just in time for the restaurant challenge.

I'm disappointed in this news. About a month ago I read that season five would was rumored to be in New Orleans. Hopefully they'll go there for season 6.

N'awlins would be a GREAT location for a future season!

New Orleans and TC5 would not be a good match. TC5 is being filmed in July and August - hurricane season and the levees not ready for another class 4 hurricane.
