I can't remember how Steph got stuck with the cake. Being in charge of just one important thing rather than 2 dishes among many is a big risk.

The bride's team really did have the 3 best chefs to work with and if Dale had joined them rather than Andrew it would have been the top 4. This is apparently why Dale was so disappointed during both the QF and EC. He felt that he was stuck with the worst of the remaining chefs (I agree). He seems to be able to work with the good chefs without a problem.

I liked the way Richard stepped up and admitted that it was his idea to add a yucky spice to the spinach. Popeye eats it right out of the can, why mess with perfection?

It was so typical of Nikki to want to select dishes that no one else was familiar with and then resent them asking her for help. The biggest problem with their team was lack of direction and she should have accepted that yoke. I get very mad when someone complains about being dehydrated - drink some water you idiot!

Lisa still had the "You send me home and I'll slice your tires and key your car look." during JT, but seemed to need a lot of guidance with this.

I'm not sure what they hoped to accomplish with the lack of sleep challenge, but I did prefer this to restaurant wars.

Nikki was bound to go home, but I am so sick of Dale and Spike.

The teaser for next week hints at outright sabotage, and if it's true I hope the person hangs for it.

Not all of the chefs were bad. Lisa's wedding cake pleased the groom's guests and the judges. Just because Lisa has a bad attitude doesn't mean she is a bad chef. In fact her German chocolate cake was deemed better tasting than Stephanie's cake. It would not be too much of a stretch to say that Lisa is the female version of Dale. Maybe that is why they don't get along - they are too much alike.

Canned spinach perfection? Not even close to fresh spinach.

If Dale is so much better than his teamates as he seems to think, he shouldn't have had a problem-he'd have outshined them in his portion of the meal and been safe like Lisa was with her cake. I don't think Dale is any better or worse than the Lisa or Spike. They've all had their good dishes and bad dishes, he's no exception.

The grooms team were all the asshats left. How appropriate they got stuck with each other

looks like Richard, Steph and Antonia are the 3 consistant stand outs. I expect them to be F3. I like all 3 of them but rooting for Steph.

I disagree. Steph has been all over the place, and other than his brisket, Andrew has been consistently at the top or near. Richard screwed up the spinach and admitted it. Very man of him. I liked him alot tonight, showed more personality than ever. And Antonia was weak, but has definitely picked up the pace, and possibly surprassing Steph.

um, I don't think so. Andrew & Dale are about even. Though personality wise I like Andrew better. Dale's a big douche, and not in an endearing way that Hung was. Andrew's the one who helped win the QF, since Case...Antonia, could slice through oranges.

Am I the only one who thinks that Dale completely staged that whole temper tantrum? I think that he's aware of how ticked off Tom gets by chefs who don't really fight hard to compete, and wanted to go to the other extreme to say "Look Tom! I want to win so much that I punch lockers when I don't! Love me! Pick me!"
