Lisa - Season 4

One of the times Spike was in the bottom was the group 'Block Party' of which he had no part of being the problem, therefore in no danger of elimination.

However, he was the only one left with no EC win. And though he won two QF's, he was more intent on sabotage the first time, and showed either apathy or inexperience the second time. In fact, wasn't he in the top only once? With Andrew? And it appeared Andrew did most of the hard work.

So based on this slim minutea, I would've booted.... BOTH!

Lisa looked really pretty this last episode. They don't show her smiling enough, and I doubt it's because she didn't do a lot of smiling.

I find it sad that she is still here and is in the top 4 over chefs like Spike, Dale, and Andrew.

As bad as she is, someone else has been worse than her every time she has been in the bottom. We all know that's why she is still there. Other chef's deserve to go home if they can't do better than Lisa in any given challenge. Jeez, it's not like they have to shoot for them moon or even medicority. Just don't screw it up and she is gone instead of them

I totally agree. If we're talking cumulative, I think the decision to send Spike home over Lisa was right, but the previous week's decision to send Dale home instead of Lisa was certainly not. If Lisa and Dale had been the bottom two for this past week, I have no doubt that they would've eliminated Lisa and sent Dale to the finale. Unfortunately, the judges screwed up earlier and now we get to have Lisa souring up the finale.

Interestingly, Lisa is taking over Spike's job at "Mai House", which Spike opens his new restaurant!

(Of course this would surprise me more if it was Lisa taking over Dale's job)

Well, anyone who didn't already despise her can start now, thanks to this article:

Most people are surprised that she's made it this far—the finals of this season of Top Chef—what with her back-stabbing and pettiness. Everybody seems to hate her; bloggers don't seem to be fans; commenters everywhere seem to generally despise her. Maybe Bravo's producers painted her as the villain, but when asked by the New York Daily News if she's read the reactions online, Top Chef contestant Lisa Fernandes responded:

"Oh no, I don't read the blogs – you couldn't pay me to read the blogs. I don't want to know what people who can't even afford to eat in my restaurant, let alone know how to cook have to say about me, and the few comments I did read on Eater.com a few weeks back because my job asked me to read 'em. The best they could come up with was that I was ugly."

I can afford to eat in her restaurant, and you couldn't pay me to go there. How could anything truly taste good coming from such a soulless troll?

Clearly, Lisa doens't understand that people dislike of her has nothing to do with the food she makes, and everything to do with her being a miserable bitch of a person. I don't have to make a great deal of money, nor do I need to understand the technical aspects of cooking, to recognize a miserable person when I see one.
