I think Padma and Tom more or less did intervene last night. They told him, in effect, that foam doesn't belogn with every dish he creates, and they were getting tired of it. My guess is Marcel was trying to get recognized for his use of foam, not expecting (as usual with him) that it would draw a negative reaction before a positive one.

It was nice to see that Marcel is hated by alot of people. That confirms a lot of stuff is going on that we are not seeing.

Who exactly is he hated by besides the Heathers? Elia, Michael, and Josie all like him, and they were on the show with him; Lee Anne likes him and she knows him outside of the show. This claim of universal hate for Marcel is unfounded.

i love marcels hair, but i think i love everything about him except maybe the foam thing, but probably not.

The hair makes me crazy. He reminds me of a cartoon match with a really big flame (that would be his hair). He strikes me as an only child, or the youngest. Does anyone know for sure?

I bet he's stuborn enough to try foam again, even though the judges are sick of it.

I read some time ago that Marcel wanted to get a haircut but production insisted that he keep his hair the way it was.

I agree. Honestly, he's no more`annoying' than the typical little brother. The contestants who are so easily irritated by him, LET him push their buttons. Particulalry Betty and Ilan.

But I think Betty has anger issues of her own, against Marcel forsome unknown reason.

He needs to wisen up, he can be stubborn and do another foam but that's going to get his ass kicked off the show. People pick on him because they know he's bluffing, he is insecure and bad at hiding it. He's still a virgin for goodness sakes. He needs to let loose and be more confident in himself. Skrew them all for picking on him and if he's good he make it through.
