Foodie blog Eater is reporting on lots of filming that is going on in NYC for what looks like an All-Star season of Top Chef (and not just a pre-season special episode like they've done in the past). Chefs who they report have been seen participating so far:

I wonder if this is being put together to air in the winter/early spring, to fill the gap between Top Chef: Just Desserts and Top Chef Masters 3. Maybe we'll actually have Top Chef year-round, just like Real Housewives, except it won't be a horrific trainwreck like RH is.

Technically, no, if **SPOILERS** is in the thread title, then you don't have to use them.

I just thought that within the general spoiler that S8 is an All-Stars season, there are deeper levels of spoilers, like who's in the cast and what it might mean to this season, which is a whole other level of spoilers that people might not want to know about.

I just saw Ed Cotton & Richard Blais on Iron Chef as sous chefs for Iron Cat Cora tonight during the Oatmeal battle. It will repeat later tonight at 1/12c. I don't know if it means anything.

Spike and Mike Isabella? Seems like they're looking for drama more than anything. I've missed the last several episodes of the current season and I won't be watching this. Guess I'm just done with Top Chef.
