"Whatever you are, be a good one." – Abraham Lincoln
I remember Nils Noren from a past season of TC. I especially remember him talking about his Swedish reggae band. :-) I think it was Season 3.
Yes, it was the last challenge of Season 3 before the finale, when Sara, Casey, Hung and Dale cooked for the faculty of that French culinary institute. He didn't think Sara's chicken frickasee had any Jamaican flavors.![]()

I hate when people lose because of things like time or equipment not working.
Remind me to never, ever buy a GE product. Seems like freezers, ovens, and ice cream makers never work.
Nils' main course looks beautiful. I'm impressed.
Okay, Michael Chiarello. I don't even know if using the guests to help serve is fair, but it sure is smart.
I love appetizers! The yellow creme dessert looked really good.
"How do you know the chosen ones? No greater love hath a man than he lay down his life for his friend. Not for millions, not for glory, not for fame... for one person. In the dark. Where no one will ever know or see." - Sebastion, Babylon 5
Wow, I think this is the weakest winner. If that one guy hadn't totally blown the quickfire he probably would have won.

I finally saw that episode today! I was wondering why he looked so familiar until I heard the words French Institute.Originally Posted by MFWalkoff;3576398;
Have any other of the chefs been on Top Chef before?
Several of them, in fact.
- Hubert Keller was on the very first episode, he was the chef that the psycho Irish guy disrespected.
- Cynthia Pawley was in the final Season 1 challenge in Napa; she is the one who called David "the Pepper Monkey"
- Wilo Benet was in Puerto Rico for the season 4 finale quickfire
- Wylie Dufresne has been a guest judge several times
- Rick Bayless was a judge in Season 4, when they made tacos and had the neighborhood block party
I think that's all of them, but who knows.![]()
