I find her to be such a "non-issue" to the show that she doesn't move me one way or the other.

I agree, since she wasn't involved in the judging she was really only there to tell us (and the chefs) what was happening next.

ETA - I also do not get the dislike of Padma. I really like her style and I think she does a very good job hosting Top Chef! I think she makes good comments at judging, she interacts well with the contestants, and I like her voice (it strikes me as calm and soothing).

I agree with your comments! To anyone that does not like Padma, I challenge you to watch S1 and see if your opinion changes. I loved the guests, cobtestants and challenges, there was just one element that I did nto like. Care to guess what that was?

I agree. IMHO it should be a blind test.
