I am not fond of Padma's personality. She seems cold as times.

Christy Brinkley. I dont remember her being a host on any reality TV show. Are you thinking Heidi Klum on Project Runway?Originally Posted by Jexter;2198276;
Padma is doing a good job.

I think her name was Katie or something close to that.

"I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier." The Killers.
she's gorgeous and one of my favorite supermodels... love her on the show.
I don't mind this host, but the lady from Food and Wine is annoying as all get go. Please get rid of her if there is another season.
The woman from Food and Wine is an executive editor for the magazine. Food and Wine is a big sponsor of the show. She's going no where.
I don't know if it's editing or what, but Gayle is difficult for me to watch. She seems soooo nice and normal and if she has a heart.
However, her comments about the food always seem to echo what Tom has just said. She agrees with him all the time and says the same thing - just using different words. Whether it's lack of skill, nerves under the situation, or poor editing, she has nothing original to bring to the dialogue about the food.
Who knows....maybe Tom is echoing her and the edit it backwards. I don't know. Still, she has nothing useful to say. Padma doesn't usually have a whole lot more to say, but...she does seem to be original from time to time, AND, she seems to have her own opinions.
Gail is also very dry and flat. Padma at least brings some personality to the table.
Not according to some of the tops she wore this year.Originally Posted by Jexter;2226010;
Well, dry...perhaps, that's true.
pg--I don't mind Gail...don't even mind that she often agrees with Tom. They're both knowledgeable about food, I have to imagine that they'll agree more often than not...the key is the degree to which they agree, what criteria are most important to them and their willingness to defend their point of view. For that, I like how Padma added some of her own strong opinions (over Katie, who was pretty much a cue card reader in season 1)...and I have no problem with it remaining Tom/Gail/Padma for any seasons to come--seattle
