This show is much better now that we see more about the food but it got off to such a bad start that it is impossbile to recover fully.

They have just changed the format of this show too much. It's fine for a regular season to play out this way, but I don't like it at all for the master chefs. I noticed I was only half paying attention last night. I think the previous formulas helped us get to know the chefs better.

Terrible to say but I don't know the last remaining guy's name, yet he's my favorite and I hope he wins. I love his attitude and smiles.

Last guy remaining is Floyd. I'm hoping for Traci, Mary Sue, and Floyd in the final three. (I just don't like Naomi that much.)

I much prefer the old format for Masters. I hope they return to it.

That's his name , it sounds familiar now! Thanks. I agree with your final three wishes as well.

I was sad that Floyd didn't win this elimination challenge. I like Mary Sue, but I really wanted him to take this one.

I'm glad Hugh is gone this week. He has had some good moments, like in this episode when he helped Floyd get his meat to the checkout in time. However, too much of the time he comes off a pompous. When his partner in this episode commented that Hugh couldn't be a scientist because he had no curiosity he was right on with respect to his emulsion challenge. I felt like Hugh didn't even TRY to get into the spirit of the challenge.

I think Hugh just has a quirky personality that takes time to understand. It's easy to assume he's a smart a$$ but I don't think he is.
I think he was unfairly dismissed this time...I can't stand that one critic guy and he was determined that Hugh's mayo "broke" and nothing Hugh said that explained why it appeared the way it did would change that guy's mind. I think Hugh is so skilled that he would be the first to admit him his sauce broke.
Of course, I could be biased because there's hardly anything I like about that critic guy. Can't remember his name but he seems so pompous and know it all.
Looked it up, he's James Oseland. Just rubs me the wrong way.
