I'm pretty sure all the other winners so far have landed in the 20s range. Maybe one guy got a 19. But this winner got the lowest "winning" score.

I also think if that one guy had gotten his stuff plated, he would have won.

Number wise the next closest was Hubert with 20 1/2 stars surprisingly enough.

    Michael Chiarello - 19 stars
    Hubert Keller - 20 stars
    Suzanne Tracht - 22 stars
    Rick Bayless - 22 stars
    Anita Lo - 22 stars

Michael Chiarello is such a flirt! I wonder what his wife thought of his flirting with every woman that came near him. I used to love his show and was really surprised when his wife was on the show, very odd couple. Sort of like George and Barbara Bush, or Larry Hagman and his wife...
Anyway, I was rooting for Michael to win and am very happy that he did...couldn't believe how much he aged!

I really wish Rick would've won, but understand he was handicapped for taking too much on in the QF. If he's watched TC before, he should know those darn GE appliances fail at the worst times.

But Michael winning was okay by me. It seemed like there was no true failing (ala Besh & Douglas & Ludo) and any of them would've been a fine representative in the finale.
