Re: Mark - Season 4

While the "we have soooo many chefs we can't show them all" theory works for one week, it doesn't fly for two weeks in a row.

No Mark in the quick-fire challenge this week either.

Team Christmas Story did get praise this week, but sadly, didn't make the top two.

Re: Mark - Season 4

Pardon the old cliche', but at the risk of sounding like a broken record, not showing Mark in the quick fire challenge is really starting to burn my biscuits.

Well, they DID show him - for about 1.5 seconds.

And then they have the nerve to tease me with previews of next weeks episode. Mark in a bubble bath. Sounds like fun . . . . . . . except for his choice of companion!

Oh, I didn't mind that...it might make me look at Spike differently now.

Okay, bring on the bathtub scene! I'm ready.

I'm even wearing my BLUE jammies tonight just in case someone uses Bombay Sapphire gin for their cocktail.

Here's hoping that we actually see Mark on camera during the quick fire challenge tonight.

Re: Mark - Season 4

Really thought it was the end of the road last night for Mark.

Yeah, the double-dipping thing was GROSS, but I'm thinking it was more of a "we just happened to catch it on camera" thing rather than a "it's only Mark who ever does this" thing. Who knows what has been edited out that we've never seen.

I do appreciate the face-time he got last night. Pleasant change.

He should've been gone. If it wasn't that douchebag Ryan screwed up, I suspect that Mark would've been cut. That was just plain gross. Of course, they kept Howie last year, also.

Re: Mark - Season 4

Lots of face time for Mark this week too. THANKS!

Next week looks a little tense if we are to believe the edited version of the previews shown last night. Not only does Mark express his belief that he isn't a judges favorite, but it also appears that he calls him "Tom".

Are they really on a first name basis?

And he doesn't look happy when Tom asks him if he's kidding or not.

If Andrew could get away with saying that it was "his house" and he wasn't leaving while at judge's table; I don't think they would eliminate Mark for that.

I agree. In fact Andrew's remark was more ... how do I put it ... arrogant, I guess (which he doesn't seem to be), while still being confident. Mark's remark (from the preview mind you) seems more sad, upset.

I love me some Mark. He's got a dry wit about him.
