Top Chef New Orleans - 11/13 Show Discussion **Spoilers**

"Jazz Hands" - the Quickfire is a culinary game of musical chairs; the chefs cater a jazz music event.

    Enjoy the show!

The numbers are too high to really get a good grasp of each dish.

Nina is a powerhouse, love this woman. I like her cooking and her strong, pesky personality.

Patricia has squeeked by; it was definately her time to go. Sweet girl but she was out of her league.

I wanted to attend that pot luck in the worst way. Note to self: watch this show in the morning, NOT at night when you want a snack.

That quickfire was frustrating. The winning dishes were started and nurtured by the best chefs, yet the laziest and least capable chefs got the kudos for finishing those dishes. Anyway, those were the chefs in the bottom for elimination and finally Patty was sent packing. She's probably a good chef but this competition wasn't for her.

She is a sous chef so this is a nice knotch in her belt as she continues with her career. I think she has a long way to go given the dishes she has prepared, thoough.

Last night I had to decide between watching this or The Walking Dead while I ate a late dinner. This is a much more appetizing show than TWD!!

I agree it was Patty's time to go.

During the quickfire the original chefs even had a chance to fix the mistakes that the second chefs made when they landed back in their original spots. I wish nobody had ever landed back at their original spot. I think they would have been on slightly more even ground if that had been the case.

Each week I start the show by wondering why Patty is still on the show. Luckily I won't have to wonder next week.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

The fact that it took this long to eliminate her speaks to the integrity of the judges. She has been in the bottom yet someone else, a better chef, made a more egregious mistake.

I find I am never watching this show live anymore & FF through much of it when I watch On Demand. That is sad.
