In Tre's defense, he was safe and this was a team effort. His team had more at stake in his dish than he and they wanted to win. Handing it over to Angelo, who was insisting, seems better than failing himself and being accused of not caring because of his immunity.
I agree, Jamie's attitude this season is curious. She has lacked enthusiastiasm from day one and entered with a chip on her shoulder. She could easily have apologized for her error in judgement with the chick peas and acknowledged her teams frustration at the situation. Taking responsibility for your actions goes a long way in mending fences.KeepItReal- I think what turned me just now was her attitude toward the entire thing. I know she really had nothing to say when Blaise called her out, but anyone could see she had no confidence at all in her dish. She's got to step it up or she's not going to have an ounce of respect as a chef when this thing is over.
A medic told her that she needed stitches. People react very differently to injury and we don't know how that medic presented the information. He may have scared her about possible infection and what could happen.
Angelo. Keep him away from your food. I don't think he sabotaged Tre, given the situation, but it is not beneath him to do so. He tipped his hand in several diary talks during his season, if I remember correctly.
Go Carla! I love this woman.
