Top Chef Masters 6/2 Show Discussion **Spoilers**

Tonight, the Masters have to "improvise", much like the chefs from Season 4...

Please keep all discussion in here until 2AM ET, 11PM PT.

A bittersweet episode! The chefs were all so nice and friendly with each other, for a moment I thought it was a rerun from last season.

Good challenges: the QF was from the Foo Fighters/Thanksgiving episode of S5: the master chefs had to make recipes from each others' cookbooks, and halfway through the challenge were told to turn their dishes into soups. Marcus won his first QF.

The Elimination was from S4's trip to Chicago's Second City, only this time the master chefs went to the Groundlings. Marcus won again for his "Violet Pleasure Salmon". Unfortunately, Jonathan went home for his "Burnt Sienna Depressed Avocado". Rick Moonen was in the weeds for the entire hour but managed to squeak by to the finals with Marcus and Susur.

I'm sorry that Obi-Wan went home. That chicken looked yummy.

For this very reason, I didn't mind watching it back to back. I not only didn't mind Marcus, I was glad he won both challenges. Love was in the air. .

TCM they act more cordially and professional, as well as friendly towards one another. TC original, they act more like amatuers and less cordial and professional, and less friendly. If only the latter show could learn from the former show.
