Sweet! Its cookin' time again people!

Quickfire is to create a veggie plate using ingredients provided. The trick is that each chef must demonstrate 3 different style techniques that would impress chef Daniel Boulud (one of the most famous French chefs in the world).

    Bottom:
    Nikki
    Lisa
    Manuel

    Top:
    Zoi
    Dale (winner)
    Richard

I love this episode. Great quickfire challenge (I love technique challenges), and interesting elimination challenge.

Elimination challenge is a 6 course meal hosted by Richard Roeper and Aiesha Tyler. Each team must create a course inspired by a movie or film.

Andrew, Richard, and Dale are doing Willy Wonka (1st course) and Andrew wants to dress up like an oompa loompa for their presentation, oy!

Films are 1) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Andrew, Richard, Dale), 2) Good Morning, Vietnam (Spike and Manuel), 3) A Christmas Story (Ryan and Mark), 4) Il Postino (I think Nikki and Jennifer), 5) Talk to Her (Zoi and I think Antonia), 6) Top Secret (Stephanie and Lisa).

Thank you. I get distracted very easily and forgot to post the rest, lol!

I am in disagreement with Zoi. Unique flavors do have their place and Richard, Dale, and Andrew really did embody the essence of "Willy Wonka" with their dish.

I agree about Top Secret (they just wanted to do beef!). I loved Il Postino, though, and it's a good way to do rustic Italian cuisine.

I thought Manuel made a very classy exit. Almost brought tears to my eyes.

Next week looks like there's some fighting...

I would like to applaud Manuel for how he handled it.
