    Judge Blogs

Apparently, the judges are doing weekly blogs on their Top Chef experiences.

    Episode 1 is up:

    Thanks for posting that, John!

The judges are actually interesting, especially Gail Simmons.

They confirm what I already thought about the elimination of Ken-- his inability to carry himself as a chef was his downfall as much as his signature dish. It's really interesting to learn that they really didn't like anything from the first team.

    they're okay

yup, saw the links on their official site and although it's a start, the official site is kind of weak. i wish their blogs would be a bit longer and more interesting. just kinda bland.

it gives me the impression that they're busy people and are just putting in a little time into this effort which may be reasonable but it doesn't help their cause to promote the show.

i'd like to see this show be a great success and that's why i'm a bit disappointed to see that their site isn't all that it could be.

another example: it's great that we have this forum to discuss the show but their site should have it's own offical forum for all to see; if not, they should integrate this forum into their site.

    hoping for a great season....

Just read the blogs, and agree about why Ken was ousted.
I find it interesting though that on a reality show they sent home a contestant that could provide drama and not the more boring one in his place. Maybe this is an actual contest on abilities and not popular tv.
I don't object to the concept of a deity, but I'm baffled by the notion of one that takes attendance.

    Week 4's blogs are up....

Enjoyed their irritation with the chefs that considered using the microwave a step down in cooking...

I'm waiting, albeit not too patiently, for this week's blogs. I wonder what the scoop is on why Stephen was spared. I know Miguel deserved to go, but I would have preferred the snooty patooty to get the booty.
