Re: 5-7 Show Disucssion **Spoilers**

First I must say that Bravo really needs to let its viewers know when certain episodes run long. I normally record this show and would have been very annoyed to have missed the last 15 minutes and then have to find out when it was showing again just to watch the part I missed. Very inconvient. That being said lets get on with the show.

Liked the quick fire. Liked the challenge. Liked how Richard took charge. Now for the other team. Dale, mmmm....., OK you don't like the people you are with... well in the words of Tim Gunn, "make it work". Just suck up your baby tantrum and "make it work", be a professional and "make it work". I have to agree with the judging panel as far as editing the menu. Dale took the easy way out and didn't work with the team to win. It looked as if his strategy was do as much work as he could and ride the "I did all the work" plan. I can't believe that all the people he has ever worked with he liked and got along with. He was such a jerk during this challenge, such a pouter, it does not bode well for opening his own restaurent in the future. On the other hand I cannot believe how stupid Nikki was. You and the groom matched flavor profiles, you had the flavors, and you ducked out of the responsibility when your teammates asked for help with the flavors when seasoning items. This is Top Chef not "duck my head and save my ass for the next round". This was such a righteous call. She displayed absolutely no leadership skills at all. Even Spike failed on this. But I have to give them some kudos as Lisa and Spike did ask Nikki for help and she basically said figure it out yourself. You have Dale, sabotaging the team by absenting himself except for being the workhorse, you have Nikki declining any kind of direction or leadership and with 50% of your team refusing to participate it is amazing anything got done at all. To top that off, Nikki failed on her flatbreads and pasta dish, she had to go. This was such an obvious and easy decision. If you are not even going to try why did you even on this show????

I was sorry to see Nikki go home but someone had to go. I like Dale but he needs to chill out. I was happy to see Gail Gand as a judge. I miss the show she used to have on the Food Channel.

Dale. But I haven't watched all the eps, so I don't know if personality would overshadow cuteness.

I thought it was funny when someone (Andrew I think) remarked that the apartment got a whole lot uglier after "pretty boy Ryan" left. Personally I think Spike's cute if he'd shave his facial hair.

Bravo does warn we viewers when a show is scheduled to run long. This is usually mentioned in the advertisements for various Bravo reality shows that appear the previous week. Also, you need to check the scheduling on the Bravo Top Chef webpage and the tv listings in your local newspaper. I know it isn't that much of a warning.

I think Dale is really cute too. Padma was recently on some morning show (don't remember which one it was) and the female host asked her why there weren't any hot guys this season. She agreed and said "I have no idea" She must still have eyes only for Sam

If no one has heard, the finale was completed a few days ago and a winner was determined. The finale location was Puerto Rico. The source was Ted Allen in a interview by a Dallas newspaper.

Hung was not at all endearing. I can't stand Dale and I still prefer him to Hung. I agree that Andrew and Dale are about even and I would add Lisa to that group as well. Dale's like a child. He can't make the best out of a bad situation; he'd rather just pout about it and try to make things worse. Still, something about Hung was just unbearable.
