12/28 Top Chef Colorado - Show Discussion

Little Tools, Big Challenge - The chefs make upscale versions of kid-menu classics while using child-sized cookware, utensils and mixers; after a visit to a food incubator, the chefs must present dishes based on their own heritage for immigrant food influencers.

    Enjoy the show!

Holy wow! That was a wonderful show. I loved the heritage challenge...made me choked up!

I need to have lemonade fried chicken! And those biscuits? I want now!

Totally - that chicken and biscuit looked mouth-watering.

So happy to see Gregory doing so well -- he hosted the competition in his restaurant, Departure.

Be sure to watch Last Chance Kitchen -- it's a double episode with a real twist that affects the competition.

Just found a simple recipe for oven-fried lemonade chicken, and now I want to try it--but it's supposed to be snowing and below zero tomorrow, and I don't have the ingredients to make it. Don't even have the chicken. Sigh.

Who knew I would ever be drooling over lemonade fried chicken? Yes, please. I really like Chris as a person too -he seems very nice.
I always find the “cook something for your heritage/memory”tasks hard -some have no real go-tos like Tyler and the pierogy lady (Idaho! I know - potatoes!) whereas other have richer histories. I guess they could always make something and make a story to fit but then sometimes they call them on that too...

Just read this. Not sure where to post it. Top Chef Season 15 Contestant Fatima Ali Diagnosed with Cancer | The Daily Dish

Before we begin, what are the parameters of the guessing game? How many guesses do I get? Is there a time limit?
