12/15 Top Chef 14 Show Discussion *West Coast Spoilers*

Choke Holds and Clammy Hands - For the Quickfire, it's the return of the "mise en place" race. Then the chefs must create a seven-course progressive meal featuring the humble radish in front of "Top Chef" superfans. Guest judges are Chris Cosentino and Richard Blais.

    Enjoy the show!

Wow. I can't believe Sam went home already. Especially since the other guy in the bottom has already been in the bottom previously.

It was tough, but when nobody makes a bad dish, it usually means an unexpected elimination.

I want Katsuji gone...at least John is trying not to be an ass...Katsuji is trying to be a TV villain. I don't see what the profit is in that. You won't get your own food show if nobody likes you...

I agree, Katsuji is just annoying. He's not even a good villain.
It's actually kind of entertaining watching John try to be nice. His voice over makes it feel like we are getting his inner monologue.

I'm not convinced Katsuji is trying to play a villain; I think he just needles everybody around him in his own kitchen as some chefs do and carried it over into the show itself.
