It felt sort of right that in the end, Katsuii had a slight hand in John packing his knives to go.

It's a nice element of Last Chance Kitchen - sometimes it takes losing to ignite that fire in the belly and really come back to fight.

I knew Brooke was getting the "winner" edit. Not surprised. Oh, well....
Not a fan of hers but she IS an excellent chef.

Brooke is a very competitive person which bodes well for her in this competition. While John gets bogged down in disagreements and personality clashes with other chefs that keeps him from focusing on the task at hand, Brooke keeps focused on the challenges and is able to succeed. I did like John's dig at Richard Blaise (sp?) and Tom...the comment about most chefs after a certain age or success just walk around in chef's jackets and stop cooking altogether...oh snap! And what the hell was Padma wearing??? Looked like a nightgown and was very revealing...her headlights were on alright. I'm half expecting her to show up for the final challenge topless wearing only a thong. Keep it classy Padma.

I was worried for Shirley as the judges didn't like the vanilla flavour, but it looks like John's cocktail really did him in. Aside from taking away from the dish it was paired with it seemed to be very unoriginal except for the salt component. Padma has worn some revealing dresses over the episodes but this one might be the worst. Extremely obvious that she wasn't wearing a bra or even any pasties or anything.
