Re: All-Stars 3/16 Show Discussion **Spoilers**

Antonia is now dressed. Tiffani shrieks with joy when she de-shells her conch. Mike dropped his in boiling water to get the conchs out. Richard bosts that he's completely wiped down his cooking area (foreshadowing about sand?)

Tiffani is doing a conch and coconut chowder, focusing on cocount, served with conch ceviche. Antonio is making a conch tartare. Mike is doing wrapped grouper with warm conch vinaigrette, and he's making some sort of savory pineapple. Richard is doing linguini and conch.... using sweet potato noodles instead of pasta.

Mike insults Antonio's food ... saying it's the same old stuff. (Grrr... he's annoying me.)

Several have commented that they need more wood, more flame.

The guests are all in all-white, which looks pretty cool and tropical.

Tiffani serves her cool ceviche on top of her hot soup because she likes having food with 2 temperatures.

Richard says he hates everything he does, just as soon as he's cooked it. He did a Hampton's dish, instead of a Caribbean dish, and worries that he's "missed the memo."

Richard's sweet potato linguini ~ some of the lobster is undercooked. They thougt his sweet potato ribbons masquerading as pasta was brilliant.

Antonio ... seared snapper with conch tartare/ceviche. Very spicy, which people liked. Tom complains that the conch is too small and the snapper is overcooked.

Tiffani finished 2.5 minutes early and worries about the temp of her soup. Padma complains the soup is cold. One person thinks it's too sweet. Tom says the flavors just haven't been developed enough.

Mike feels like his refined dish has been taken to the next level. He has banana-leaf braised grouper, over savory pineapple, with conch vinaigrette. Tom: the dish does not need butter. Gail loved it and said she was obsessed with that braised pineapple.

As they sit around, the contestants talk about who on Gilligan's Island they'd be.
    Mike ... Skipper
    Richard ... Professor
    Antonia ... MaryAnn
    Tiffani ... Ginger

Tiffany finished her dish too soon-soup cooled down. Antonia suffered the dreaded "some cooked, some undercooked" fish. They were amazed that Richard called his sweet potatoes "pasta", Mike got called out for doing too much to the fish but some of the guests really liked it. Hard to tell who they will send home. They did use the "underdeveloped flavor" comment with Tiffany so could be her. Hope it's Mike, he's being a bit of a pain. I want to like the guy, but then he opens his mouth.....

    Judging ...

Tiffani says she's happy with her dish. (Uh oh ... foreshadowing?)

Tom says that there was not one grain of sand in any dish.

Antonio ... Padma thought it was conventional and predictable. They liked the spice. Tom thought that some of the fish was over and undercooked.

Richard ... They thought the "pasta" was cool. The lobster was undercooked.

Tiffani ... They liked her soup, but it was cold and too sweet.

Mike ... The pineapple was interesting. Tom thought the butter wasn't needed, but he liked it.

Yeah, I think Tiffany gets the ax tonight. Her cold soup may have done her in. Tom has called her food too sweet a couple of times this season. She should have really been careful of that with Tom. The others sometimes don't mention sweetness, but it seems to be a sticking point for Tom.

Interesting editing. Mike came out of the judges table acting like he just got reemed.

Richard is doesn't believe the judges Lobster was under cooked. Don't think I want to go to his restaurant. I don't care if you think your dish is perfect. If someone tells you something, you listen. You want them to come back.

    Michael wins tonight.

"Tiffani , please pack your knives and go." (The dish was just a little less successful than the others.)

I guess Mike was the surprise in the final 3.

With that being said-Go Antonia. She is the only one left without the 'tude. I really liked Richard much more the first go around, this time the trash talk about the food that others create has soured me.
