The dessert was Carla's fault, she did not turn down the oven. Casey can't be blamed for that.

Between Hosea or Stefan now. Carla really messed up. I'll still give the edge to Stefan.

    Second Course:

Stefan: Squab (perfectly cooked best reaction of the three)

Carla: Sous vide Steak (Meat was tough but the sauce was good)

    Hosea: Seared scallop (Well-done)

    Third Course:

Stefan: Stracciatella Ice Cream (dated presentation and meh but completed the meal)

Carla: Apple Tart Coin w/NO SOUFFLE Judges disappointed about lack of souffle but still enjoyed the dessert)

Hosea: Venison (Enjoyed well by the judges)

Seems like a tie?...but Hosea might run with it. Poor Carla. The nerves got to her. Who knows?

Carla would have had a chance had she come thru with dessert. But she didn't.

Or it would have been a 3-way race at least. Her beef dish was a miss too.

No, CASEY got to her. (Though the dessert was more Carla.)

Casey's "experience" persuaded Carla to change her plan for cheese tarts. Yes, ultimately Carla decided, but I still find Casey insufferable.

Carla LET Casey get to her, I think.

I think Hosea will win this. None of his dishes failed and his appetizer was the best.

Top Chef NY Reunion. LOL @ Hosea and Leah kiss

Technically it's all Carla's fault. You don't turn over so much power to anyone when you're cooking the most important meal of your life. Her head wasn't in that meal. The best meals she's cooked on this show was when she took her time and wasn't sweating it. She had a meal in mind, and should have went with it. IMO, CAsey rebuffed too many of Carla's ideas. It's not what she was there to do.Carla, however, gave up the power, and she will suffer with the consequences of doing so.
