I just went to "Wichcraft" and tried his Mortadella/Pickled Grape/Black Olive Mayo sandwich (the one from the show), and it was AMAZING.

    Absolutely delicious!

Woo Hoo...good for him. Harold seems like one of the good guys.
I really doubted he could open a place in the West Village......shame on me.

    Taffina,
Harold's restaurant is scheduled to open Monday, May 7th. The blogsite, 'They cook, We dish' , has interior pictures of Harold's Perilla plus a review of a 5-course tasting menu. Harold IS one of the good guys.

Thanks for posting the hours and all that stuff. It is my mission to go to the restaurant with a friend this August.

I went to Harold's restaurant tonight with 3 other people, and we all thought it was amazing... it exceeded all of our expectations (which were relatively high). I had the spicy duck meatballs, roast chicken, side of risotto, and chocolate cake... also tried the crab salad, steak, duck, and side of potatoes. Seriously, everything was delicious, and very reasonable. Excellent service.

Harold wasn't there, but we talked to our server for a while about the restaurant. He made it sound like Harold was a dream to work for, which was nice to hear.
