3/8 Teen Mom Discussion Thread **spoilers**

Yeah, the police usually don't get involved in disagreements or money issues unless there is violence. They won't force someone to turn the baby over without a court order. Even with a court order, it's difficult to get enforcement. I've seen it.

Anyone with half a brain knows you are not making yourself look good before a judge when you keep the belongings of the mother's baby, causing her grief, just to get your loan repaid. A judge will hate that behavior. His mom should not have supported that. Not good.

Something is not right with Joe. I don't know what it is, but something is missing. It's just not there. He doesn't seem to have any interpersonal skills. He doesn't seem to have a reasonable bone in his body. He has zero maturity. Why? His parents appear to be above average in their attitude and example.

Why is he like that? The only thing I can come up with is that he is doing some kind of drug that is really messing him up. I hope not.

Legally the cops were right on point. No custody arrangement means no one HAS to do anything. Jo doesn't have to turn Isaac over, and Kailyn would not have had to either, were the situation reversed.

It's sad, because Jo is vindictive and verbally abusive (and apparently does pot), but Kailyn is needy, dependent, naive, and at least equally immature. Neither of them are ready to parent. However it turns out in this season of TM2, with at least the footage of the show and Jo's pot arrest I think the courts will likely view Kailyn as the more stable of the two.

I, at least, will give Leah and Corey a big round of applause :yay. I think their relationship is healthy (loved the $5 bet - I do stuff like that with my husband all the time!), they appear to be a great team, and they appear genuinely happy. I would be genuinely surprised if any tabloid allegations to anything less in their marriage was anything more than standard magazine sensationalism. I was also pleased to see that since we saw Ali's glasses delivered this episode, she was wearing them in each and every scene. Leah is managing the doctors, considering and pursuing second opinions. She is right on top of things :up. Hopefully this episode will put to rest any suggestions of the contrary.

Jo is garbage but he has every right to feel betrayed by Kailyn. When she asked him for that money, she also made it seem like things would work out between them. How come everyone just turns a blind eye to the fact that when she did that, she still had feelings for the other guy and really had no intentions to get back with Jo?
Again Jo treated her like crap and I dont blame her for being with someone else but at the same time, dont ask Jo for money. Why didnt she ask the other guy?

Yeah, she asked for the money from Jo and he agreed, but when he said to her that he wanted his family together and he wanted to get back together with him she clearly told him it was not what she wanted. When Jo's parents were telling her that she couldn't date anyone else, she was explaining that she should be allowed to date because she did not want to be romantically involved with Jo.

Whenever you get through with it, they were living in Jo's parents' house, and parents are usually going be loyal to their son/daughter. YOU are an outsider, basically. I can understand them laying down the rules of living under their roof. Kail can date whomever she wants now that she lives under HER mother's roof. That is not, necessarily, unreasonable. What is unreasonable is that Jo is verbally abusive to Kail, and his parents don't address that as being unacceptable. They need to insist that he clean up his act.

The police officer's hands were tied. The belongings are a civil matter and they cannot do anything about it, legally. There is no custody order, therefore, Joe has every right to keep him as does Kailyn. The whole incident is a civil matter and they need to go to court to get things in writing. I do agree that Joe's mother is enabling him to act they way he is. Yes she gave Kailyn a place to stay with a lot of conditions on her but not on her son.

Jo is a controlling ass**** who actually seems to me to have the potential to be abusive- he has a very mean streak, and I can't believe his parents (who seem nice in other ways) support the way he acts. I like Kailyn a lot.

Jenelle is willing to risk everything- her child, job and school and mother's trust for her dumbass homeless jobless pothead boyfriend Keefer, yet won't do the same for her son. She messes up over and over and over. I feel so bad for Jace.

I love Corey! He is the only baby daddy/boyfriend on TM2 who isn't a total scumbag. I think he is very cute with the kids and goofily in love with his family. I hope the tabloids aren't true.

Chelsea is a spoiled brat and Adam is a complete loser. She has no clue how lucky she has it with her father supporting her the way he does.

I wanted to cry seeing poor little Jace sit at the door time after time waiting for his Mom! Jenelle and her moms relationship is just so dysfunctional I don't know where to start. Its obvious why Jenelle is the way that she is though!

The cops should have told Jo that they have no opinion on that matter. It was as if they gave him the idea it was ok to keep that child. They are supposed to keep the peace, they basically gave Jo an ok to disturb the peace and start something with Kailynn. I know they have no business in a no court custody issue, but saying it was ok for Jo to keep Isaac was a little too much information and should have said no comment.

I don't know if Jenelle's mom can be blamed for her behavior. Look at Joe. His parents IMO seem to be above average in their parenting. They have made some mistakes, but I am surprised to to see how Joe acts when compared to them. He obviously is not like them at all. Joe just has a mean streak in him. I realize that Barbara can yell a lot, but I've never seen her do or support anything illegal or abuse drugs or alcohol. If anything is responsible, it may be Barbara being too permissive with Jenelle from an early age and allowing Jenelle to be abusive to her. It appears that Barbara may have come from an abusive home.
