I will agree that Jenelle's mom can be overbearing BUT then look at Kailyn's mom that is just all about HERSELF.

I feel bad for her because she didn't really have anyone being supportive like the other girls :/

I consider myself a compassionate person, but from day 1 Jenelle has proven to be a very hostile, lazy, irresponsible person. When she first aired as a pregnant teen, she was like that. Even her own friends became upset with her and her wild ways and stopped talking to her. (That happened last year.) Even her own friends objected to the way she was acting and showed their disapproval.

The girl doesn't have one appreciative bone in her body. I don't think yelling is good, but I think her mom has probably begged so much that she has lost her temper in frustration. That's my take on Jenelle. I think she is dangerous. I hope her mom keeps a good watch on her and sleeps with a lock.

I agree that the doctor Leah took her baby to was horrible. I think he was a specialist that they were referred to and not the regular baby doctor, but I could be wrong. He had no bedside manner and was downright rude to Leah and her dad and step mom. He could have offered a little comfort and cautioned them to wait for news before they get upset. He just made some comment like something's obviously wrong and I don't know what it is and then abruptly walked out of the room. Maybe he didn't want to be filmed. Still he was a jerk. Get a new doctor. I pray for them and that baby. I have a young niece with a serious medical condition and it has broken our hearts. It's just so sad. I hope for the best.

I can understand why the parents of Cailyn's baby daddy reacted like they did. She listed her status as in a relationship on My Space. Generally speaking, teen mothers who cannot afford to support themselves or their baby and who live under the roof of the baby's parents, DO NOT have the right to be in a relationship with a new boyfriend within weeks of breaking up with the baby daddy. It shows poor judgment and no consideration for what she is supposed to be doing, which is taking care of her baby.

She has no transportation, no place to live, and not enough money to support herself. If they kick her out, then she could lose custody of her daughter. Dad or his parents can file for custody and win because she has no where to live unless her mom lets her live with her. That's a big gamble for a guy she's not that crazy about. (She even said the guy wasn't very smart. Great role model for your child.) That shows very poor judgment.

And to think it was going to be accepted by the people who are supporting you? She must have lost her mind. That was never going to go over. This girl is very immature and needs some parenting classes. I think she betrayed the friendship she had with her baby's daddy's mom. That was a mistake.

No matter how baby's daddy acts, she should focus on herself. A teen parent does not have to date and have a social life. If you are bored, amuse yourself with your child or girlfriend. If you are lonely, write in a jounal. If you want excitement, rent a movie or join a church. You don't have to have a boyfriend. The baby, education and earning money for the baby are all a teen parent should be concerned with until they are established. It may sound harsh, but it's the truth. I think she is looking for someone to let her move in with them. Sounds bad, but I think that's what it was about.

i do think this is rather harsh . . . . the father is a awful person and treats her terribly.

i don't think she should be expected to sit in the basement alone while he is off living his life.

If she doesn't want to sit in their basement, she's welcome to find her own place.

I agree with Debb70. They gave her a LOT as the mother of their grandchild, and without the roof over her head that they have provided she probably would not be able to keep her son. I think she is taking their help completely for granted. What a smack in the face to Joe to find out he drove her and their son to introduce him (after one date!) to another suitor. Joe's no saint, but he has every right to be pissed about that.

I am disappointed in Kailyn. She's showing poor judgment and immature decision-making.

Wasnt there some uncovering in the entertainment news media that Janelle had been arrested for burglary, and pot -

ITA that mom raised Janelle, so there is some problems there - and it seems there is some "acting" for the cameras going on - imho

Also, lets not forget the fact that we all gasped when Janelle was giving Jayce a bath and left him when she went to get something... mom did over react when Janelle wanted to put on a small onesie, maybe mom should've gone thru the clothes with Janelle, and its better to praise in public, criticize in private...

Has anyone heard any updates on Leah's baby who has the limb development problem. They should have a diagnosis by now. I'm curious as to what is wrong.

Supposedly she hasn't told anyone yet and MTV is keeping the details under wraps until further in the season. The only thing I've heard is that there were rumors of down syndrome, but they haven't been confirmed.

Okay. I never heard that downs could cause that kind of problem. I hope it's something that can be treated or corrected.

I think if it was something that drastic it would have leaked by now...important news like that hardly stays under wraps for too long in Hollywood.

I think it may have been started by sites like WebMD. Just a guess, but when entering 'short arms' as a symptom (as was mentioned by the doctor on the show), Down's is the only thing that pops up. I'm betting that it's more likely people going to google or webmd with what little was mentioned on the show. IMO, Leah's daughter did not have the typical facial features displayed by Down syndrome, and I would be shocked if something so serious was not caught by that age. I agree that it's likely something far less serious.

Though, in Leah's wedding pics, one of the twins is wearing glasses. I do wonder if the vision problems are related to the physical problems she is noticing.
